Proud Peruvian. The Peruvian flag waved high on the podium at the 2023 Cali International Para Athletics Meeting in Colombia, after our para athlete Carlos Felipa won another gold medal for Peru.
Our representative achieved the gold medal after recently winning the silver and gold medal in Mexico and Chile respectively.
The Paralympic athlete in Rio 2016 and silver medalist at the Lima 2019 Parapan American Games is preparing for the Santiago 2023 Parapan American Games and the Paris 2023 Paralympic Games.
"With this third competition, my cycle of official activities with a view to Santiago 2023 ends. Now, let's continue working with discipline and perseverance towards our goals," said the medalist.
It is worth mentioning that Felipa won the gold medal in Cali in the F63 shot put event, with a distance of 10 meters and 77 centimeters.
