The race is carried out with the purpose of raising awareness about visual impairment and other disabilities, within the framework of the National Day of the Disabled Person, which will be commemorated one day later, on October 16th.
"Many times disability is seen vertically. So, this marathon aims to unite, all of us together, and to run definitively on the same day, in the same space," says the spokesperson for the institution.
People with disabilities are exempt from paying the registration fee. Meanwhile, for the conventional and master categories, a payment of S/25 must be made.
