Fans of Universitario de Deportes have always considered the 'Lolo' Fernández Stadium as a temple for and by the merengue history. Despite more than 20 years since an official match has been played inside, they hold it in their hearts. For that reason, the merengue fans were surprised when opinions started to circulate on social media suggesting that the Tax Administration Service (SAT) could auction off the sports venue.
