The Uruguayan coach addressed his followers through Instagram, where he acknowledged that his behavior during the match between César Vallejo and ADT, for Liga 1 Betsson, "was completely out of place". The former Uruguayan international also said that he wants to take "total responsibility" for his actions.

"I am willing to accept any sanctions imposed on me and assume the expenses involved as a result of my actions", communicated the 'Poet' coach.
