"Real Madrid C. F. and Chelsea FC have agreed to loan player Kepa Arrizabalaga, who will be connected to the club until June 30, 2024," announced the white club through a statement on social media.
This way, Kepa becomes linked to Real Madrid after playing a total of 39 matches with Chelsea in the Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League. The goalkeeper comes to the white team with a lot of experience, with the aim of making a name for himself in the club's history.
Kepa belonged to Athletic Club de Bilbao after his development in the club's youth divisions. He managed to be transferred to Chelsea in 2018 for a figure of 80 million euros, making him the most expensive goalkeeper in history.
