William Pacho, defender of the Ecuadorian National Team, gives his first press conference at his new club, Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany, and highlights how happy he is with his new challenge.

"Playing in the Bundesliga was always my dream. My time in Belgium helped me to adjust to Europe. I want to be part of the Eintracht family and repay the trust they have placed in me," said the 21-year-old player, who came through the ranks at Independiente del Valle.

"I feel comfortable in various systems. In Ecuador, we played a lot with a three-man defense; in Antwerp, I had no problem with a four-man defense. I can adapt quickly," detailed William Pacho, who joined Eintracht Frankfurt, from the German Bundesliga, last month.

Pacho also admitted that he was a fan of German football: "I have been following the club closely since their Europa League title in 2022. Now I want to be a part of it, I want to help the team and grow here in Frankfurt."

The defender, who was part of the Ecuadorian National Team in the 2022 World Cup, affirmed that he is familiar with the career of the Japanese center-back Hasebe, who will be his defensive partner. "His training and work methods are exemplary. A phenomenon from whom I can learn a lot."
