San Lorenzo is considering Carlos Zambrano as a reinforcement for the resumption of Argentine football in the Copa Sudamericana, Matías Caruzzo, manager of the Almagro team, acknowledged on Wednesday.
"It is a name that has been on our list for some time," he said in communication with ESPN, although he acknowledged that the signing of the Alianza Lima defender is "difficult."
"Actually, it's very difficult, but it's a name that we internally like," added the coordinator of professional football at 'Cuervo', who is preparing for the round of 16 of the Sudamericana after eliminating Independiente Medellin from Colombia.

Zambrano is one of the current references of Alianza Lima, his beloved club, which he joined at the beginning of the year from none other than Boca Juniors.
