Which country does the flag that looks like Peru belong to?
According to internet pages, the flag that resembles the Peruvian one belongs to the Alto Paraguay department, located in Paraguay, created on December 7, 1973. Although they do not have the same colors, the discussion arises in the shield that is on the white side.
As we know, the national coat of arms represents the kingdoms of nature (flora and fauna) and the abundance of our resources with the symbols of the vicuña, the cinchona tree, and the cornucopia.
In the case of the heraldic symbol of Alto Paraguay, it is also divided into three and its elements refer to its history. It is worth mentioning that we both share the palm and laurel branch.
Even the two fallen leaves appear on the flag of the southern country. Let us remember that this element represents the mourning of losing Arica and Tarapacá after losing the Pacific War with Chile.
