The Winter Bonus is one of the economic benefits provided by the Government of Chile in 2023. This monetary support aims to help more than one and a half million elderly adults living in the country who need extra income to buy food or cover other expenses.

If you want to know if you are part of Winter Bonus 2023, you have two options to make your inquiry. To do this, you must do it with your RUT.
In-person
- Go to one of the offices of ChileAtiende.
- Explain the reason for your visit: "to inquire if you are eligible for Winter Bonus".
- Show your identification card.
- After making your inquiry, an advisor will confirm whether you are or not a beneficiary of Winter Bonus 2023.
By phone call
- Call 101 during business hours from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
- Explain the reason for your call: "to inquire if you are eligible for Winter Bonus".
- Provide your RUT number.
- An advisor will inform you if you are one of the beneficiaries of Winter Bonus.
- If you are calling from abroad, you can also call +56 2 2965 4000.
When will Winter Bonus 2023 be paid?
The money is delivered along with the usual pension received by many beneficiaries with the subsidy, so the payment depends on that deposit. On the ChileAtiende website, you can also find more information about the topic and resolve any other doubts you may have. Remember that to access the website, you must enter your RUT.
Who will receive Winter Bonus 2023?
- Pensioners of the Social Security Institute, the Labor Security Institute, Pension Funds, and Employers' Mutual Funds under law Nº16,744, whose pensions are equal to or lower than the minimum old-age pension value established in Article 26 of law Nº15,386, for pensioners aged 75 or older at the date of payment of the benefit.
- Pensioners of the system established by decree law Nº3,500 of 1980, who are receiving minimum pensions with state guarantee, in accordance with Title VII of said legislation.
- Pensioners of the system established by the mentioned decree law who are receiving a solidarity retirement contribution, whose pensions are equal to or lower than the minimum old-age pension value established in Article 26 of law Nº15,386, for pensioners aged 75 or older at the date of payment of the benefit.
- Universal Guaranteed Pension beneficiaries, provided they are not entitled to another pension in any pension system.
- Pensioners of any pension system who, in addition, are receiving a Universal Guaranteed Pension and whose pensions are equal to or lower than the minimum old-age pension value established in Article 26 of law Nº15,386, for pensioners aged 75 or older at the date of payment of the benefit. How much is Winter Bonus 2023?
Thanks to the subsidy being doubled at the request of the President of Chile, those who receive the bonus received 70 thousand soles last month and will receive an additional 60 thousand in June. This subsidy will benefit thousands of Chileans who need extra economic support to live peacefully in the country.
