In the United States, the Social Security Administration (SSA) provides monthly payments to a group of beneficiaries that includes retired workers, survivors, and those who receive disability benefits from the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program and the Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) program. During the month of July, the payments continue and here you will find the dates for the next six months and who will receive the government assistance.
Payment Schedule
It should be noted that SSI beneficiaries receive their payments on the first few days of each month. On the other hand, those who began receiving Social Security payments before May 1997 receive their benefits on the 3rd of each month.
Meanwhile, the rest of the Social Security checks are sent according to the beneficiaries' birth dates.
- On the second Wednesday of the month, payments are sent to retirees with birthdays between the 1st and 10th
- On the third Wednesday of the month, money is sent to beneficiaries born between the 11th and 20th
- On the fourth Wednesday of each month, payments are sent to those born between the 21st and 31st
Social Security Checks: Payment Dates from July to December 2023
SSI benefits are sent on the first few days of each month. However, if the first day of the month falls on a weekend, Saturday or Sunday, the payments will be advanced to the last Friday of the previous month. This is the case for the payments of July, October, and January 2024.
