The Third Takeover of Lima is a social manifestation to show the rejection that many people have towards the current government of President Dina Boluarte, who assumed power on December 7, 2022, after the removal of Pedro Castillo as President of the Nation.

The National Unitary Command of Struggle is a group of leaders from different regions of the country who will be in charge of leading the march against Dina Boluarte. It should be noted that this commission for the Third Takeover of Lima is composed of 46 people.
When will the Third Takeover of Lima be?
The Third Takeover of Lima, led by the National Unitary Command of Struggle, will take place on Wednesday, July 19. It has also been reported that this group is already making preparations and it is even said that on July 1 and 2, leaders of the General Confederation of Peruvian Workers (CGTP), National Assembly of the People, Federation of Young Towns, National Roundtable of Peasant Communities, Macro North, Macro South, Macro Central, and Construction Workers were gathered.
It was the CGTP leader, Erwin Salazar, who provided more details about the upcoming mobilization and anticipated that the roundtable members would be ready to travel to the capital of Peru and join the march from July 17 onwards.
It is estimated that around 30,000 protesters will arrive in Lima to protest against the government of Dina Boluarte once again.
