The former unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua will face Dillian Whyte in a rematch on August 12th at The O2 in London.
The fight will be broadcasted on DAZN PPV in the United Kingdom; it will be available to DAZN subscribers in the US.
"I've made it clear that my plan is to be active this year," said Joshua in a statement. "August 12th is the date, I will be ready to fight. I'm looking forward to dealing with business."

When they faced each other in December 2015, Joshua defeated Whyte by technical knockout in the seventh round, but he was forced to survive some tough moments early on against his former amateur rival. Almost 8 years later, Joshua will seek to defeat Whyte once again with a potential mega fight against Deontay Wilder on the line.
Joshua and Wilder, a former heavyweight champion, are still in talks to fight in December in Saudi Arabia, but AJ will have to defeat Whyte first. And with a fight of such money potentially awaiting Joshua, Whyte is a dangerous choice of opponent.
Joshua (25-3, 22 KO's) scored a wide victory over Jermaine Franklin in his first fight with ESPN's 2022 Trainer of the Year Derrick James leading his corner. The victory came five months after Whyte earned a controversial decision win over Franklin.
Now training in Dallas, 33-year-old Joshua is looking to become a three-time heavyweight champion.
Joshua, England's Olympic gold medalist, lost his three titles to Andy Ruiz in June 2019 in one of the biggest upsets in heavyweight championship history.
Joshua (25-3, 22 KO's) reclaimed his titles in December 2019 with a decision win over Ruiz in the rematch and made a successful unified championship defense with a ninth-round KO of Kubrat Pulev.
However, Joshua lost his titles for the second time when he faced former undisputed cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk in August 2021. Usyk defeated Joshua once again in the September 2022 rematch.
Joshua, ESPN's heavyweight No. 4, parted ways with longtime trainer Rob McCracken after the first Usyk loss and then ended his association with Robert García after just one fight.
Whyte (29-3, 19 KO's) was stopped in the 6th round by Tyson Fury in his long-awaited first title opportunity last April at London's Wembley Stadium. Prior to the Fury defeat, 36-year-old Londoner Whyte scored a fourth-round technical knockout win over Alexander Povetkin in March 2021 to avenge a fifth-round knockout loss in August 2020.
Whyte, ESPN's heavyweight No. 7, also holds victories over Joseph Parker and Derek Chisora. He opposed a rematch clause in the contract, which was removed by promoter Matchroom Boxing last week.
