In Chile, the intense rains that affected the country during the third week of June affected a large number of the Chilean population, so the authorities had to step up and act against this natural phenomenon. Therefore, the Recovery Bonus was provided, which is aimed at all families affected by the rains.
As it is known, the storm affected a large part of the central-southern zone of Chile and these rains caused damage in several localities and left numerous people affected. In light of this situation, President Gabriel Boric announced in the following days that the Recovery Bonus, a benefit of up to 1.5 million pesos, would be delivered to help the citizens.
Recovery Bonus: Who will receive it?
It is worth noting that this aid has no requirements, that is, it is not apply-able, so it will not be delivered automatically. The only condition to receive the Recovery Bonus is to have been registered or listed in the Basic Emergency Form (FIBE), so the benefit will be deposited directly into the head of household's RUT account.
How much will they pay in the Recovery Bonus?
The Recovery Bonus has a total amount that has been allocated and reaches up to 1.5 million pesos, however, this does not mean that all beneficiaries will receive the same amount of money, as the contribution is distributed in tiers, which are decided based on the need and severity of each family's situation, which is also determined with the FIBE.
It is important to know that the amount will be delivered only once, with the segments being as follows:
- Tier 1 = $375,000, when there is "low impact"
- Tier 2 = $750,000, when there is "medium impact"
- Tier 3 = $1,125,000, when there is "high impact"
- Tier 4 = $1,500,000, when there is "very high impact"
