Impact Wrestling Results - May 31, 2016
Last night, TNA presented another episode of Impact Wrestling on Pop TV. It's the week leading up to Slammiversary, the company's biggest event of the year.

María and Mike Bennett appeared in the opening segment of the night. María stated that she is the one who can handle things in TNA. Mike wanted to know who would be in charge of the show, and it was EC3 who came out and said that he would be in charge for the night.
Bram defeated Lashley by disqualification when Lashley hit him with a chair multiple times. Galloway came to the rescue, but then Eli Drake appeared to cash in his Feast or Fire briefcase, becoming the new King of the Mountain Champion.

The Bro Mans defeated Tyrus and Rockstar Spud when Spud tapped out to a crab applied by Jessie Godderz, becoming the number one contenders for the TNA Tag Team Championship.

Gail Kim and Jade defeated Sienna and Allie. Afterwards, Maria was informed by EC3 that she would have to face Gail Kim at Slammiversary.
Later, Mike Bennett defeated James Storm thanks to a distraction by Maria. EC3 then told Bennett to prepare himself for Slammiversary. Storm hit Bennett with The Last Call.

In the main event, Galloway defeated The Decay with Future Shock on Crazzy Steve. Lashley interfered in the match, accidentally hitting Abyss with the spear.

Matt and Jeff Hardy signed the contracts for Slammiversary. Then, Reby appeared and distracted Jeff, allowing Matt to attack him from behind, slamming him onto a table.
