Spain defines starting lineup for Euro 2016

The 'red fury' is getting closer to the start of the group stage of Euro 2016 and looking to define their starting squad for this important international tournament.

Vicente del Bosque, coach of the Spanish national football team, confirmed on May 31st the official list of 23 players who will be in Euro 2016.

Following an important victory over Bosnia, with a 3-1 score, the Spanish team arrives as clear favorites against South Korea and will have to achieve a result that calms the criticism for the players not called up.

Isco Alarcón and Saúl Ñíguez, two Champions League finalists, are the main absences, although Del Bosque has also decided not to take Diego Costa to France.

South Korea, on the other hand, will have a debutant coach: German Uli Stielike, who will use his best eleven, including Tottenham's player Son Heung-Min.

The match between both teams will be played this Wednesday starting at 9:30 a.m. (Peruvian time), at the Red Bull Arena, located in Salzburg (Austria).

Spain: De Gea, Alba, Piqué, San José, Bellerin, Busquets, Fábregas, Thiago, Iniesta, Silva and Morata.

South Korea: Jung Sung-ryong, Lee Yong, Jeong-ho, Hyun-soo, Kim Kee-hee, Ki Sung-yueng, Woo-jung yong, Han Kook-young, Ji Dong-won, Son Heung-min and Suk Hyun-jun.
