Who are the beneficiaries of the Winter Bonus 2023?
- Pensioners of the Social Security Institute, the Labor Security Institute, the Pension Funds, and the Mutual Employers of Law No. 16,744, whose pensions are equal to or lower than the minimum old-age pension value of Article 26 of Law No. 15,386, for pensioners aged 75 or older on the payment date of the benefit.
- Pensioners of the system established in Decree Law No. 3,500 of 1980, who receive minimum pensions with state guarantee, according to Title VII of said legal framework.
- Pensioners of the system established in the aforementioned decree law who receive a solidarity old-age pension contribution, whose pensions are equal to or lower than the minimum old-age pension value of Article 26 of Law No. 15,386, for pensioners aged 75 or older on the payment date of the benefit.
- Beneficiaries of the universal guaranteed pension, provided they are not entitled to any other pension under any other pension system.
- Pensioners of any pension system who, in addition, receive a universal guaranteed pension and whose pensions are equal to or lower than the minimum old-age pension value of Article 26 of Law No. 15,386, for pensioners aged 75 or older on the payment date of the benefit (Information from the Government of Chile).
What is the amount of the Winter Bonus 2023?
Thanks to the doubling of the subsidy, those who receive the bonus received 70 thousand Chilean pesos last month and will receive an additional 60 thousand in June. This bonus will benefit thousands of Chileans who need extra support to cope with the country's situation.
