Barcelona will now be able to register the renewed and pending registration footballers, as well as consider summer transfer market incorporations.

The illusion of Fútbol Club Barcelona to see Lionel Messi once again dressed in blue and garnet remains intact. Last Monday, Jorge Messi, father and representative of the Argentine player met with President Joan Laporta to bring positions closer on the negotiation. And as if that weren't enough, this Tuesday there has been another significant advance: the approval of the viability plan by LaLiga. That is, the azulgrana team will now be able to register renewed and pending registration players and also think about incorporations like the genius from Rosario.

For the viability plan, the Spanish football association understands that Barcelona has made the necessary effort to generate savings over the past few months. In this way, Barça already has the green light for all the operations that the azulgrana club has to complete for the next season.

Now that the viability plan has been approved, in addition to being able to register contracts for already renewed players such as Ronald Araujo and Gavi, it will be possible to announce a closed signing, such as Iñigo Martínez. And, what is more important, it will be possible to make an official offer to Lionel Messi.

In the last few hours, Laporta and Jorge Messi met to try to bring positions closer regarding a possible return of the Argentine. With LaLiga's 'OK' to the viability plan, the Catalan team can now negotiate with real numbers with the PSG player's environment.

Jorge Messi made it clear that the Argentine player wants to return to Barcelona, but also that nothing is closed with the club and that there is still a long way to go. At least, the viability plan is already a step forward.

How did Messi arrive at Barcelona?

The 'Pulga' started playing football at an early age and stood out for his ball skills. At the age of 13, he was discovered by Barcelona's talent scout, Carles Rexach, who was impressed with his ability and invited him to Spain for a trial.

In the test, Messi demonstrated his talent by performing a series of impressive moves with the ball. Rexach was so dazzled that he decided to immediately sign the Rosario player for Barcelona's youth team with a contract on a napkin.

From then on, Lionel began to progress rapidly through Barcelona's youth ranks, showcasing his talent in every game. His debut for the first team came in 2004, when he was a teenager, in a friendly against Mourinho's Porto.

Since then, Messi has played a key role in Barcelona's success, winning numerous titles and becoming one of the greatest football players of all time until he left for PSG in 2021.
