The FC Barcelona is the new champion of LaLiga
After three years, FC Barcelona once again lifted the league title. The best part is that they achieved it after defeating Espanyol.
The team led by Xavi Hernández won the victory with a score of 4-2. The blaugrana team dominated the entire match and were already winning 3-0 before the end of the first half. It was a quite peaceful match for the Catalan club, and with that victory, they sealed the long-awaited Spanish league title.
The entire culé team celebrated in the center of the field their twenty-seventh occasion as champions. However, everything changed radically when the Espanyol ultras jumped over the stands and invaded the pitch, causing the Barcelona players to rush to the dressing rooms to take shelter and continue their celebration there.
The moment Espanyol fans ran Barcelona players off the pitch for celebrating the LaLiga title.
This behavior was seen as reprehensible by some social media users, as it could have ended worse for both the fans and the players, who had every right to celebrate winning this trophy.
One of the fans who invaded the field, identified as Yago Darnell, went as far as to throw a broadcasting camera and thought he would not receive any punishment for it.
Yesterday we saw these regrettable images on television. The guy who threw the Movistar camera after the pitch invasion is Yago Darnell, number 9 on the PP list in Sant Joan Despí.
How much will he have to pay for that camera?
The camera that the fan broke was owned by Mediapro, so the company informed Yago that he would have to pay for the damages suffered by the camera, which cannot be repaired and is a total loss.
Jaume Roures, founding partner of Mediapro, indicated that the cost of the equipment is between 40,000 and 50,000 euros.
