The present of Brayan Cortés at Colo Colo is not the best. In that instance, the strategist referred to the situation that Brayan Cortés faces at Colo Colo.
"If he is a substitute at Colo Colo, I won't summon him" These were the statements that Berizzo would have made to highlight the present of the goalkeeper trained at Deportes Iquique. These statements were echoed by the current president of Blanco y Negro, Alfredo Stöhwing, before the Cacique's match against Unión Española. "I didn't hear it. Of course, we like all our players to be in the National Team and not miss opportunities, but it is a technical decision in which I can't interfere," he concluded.
Asked about a possible departure of the goalkeeper due to the discomfort that being a substitute may cause him, the concessionaire's president declared: "No, I wouldn't give it much importance because it's only four games and he has been playing as a starter for several years, so it's a very specific circumstance and he will see what happens calmly."
The truth is that Fernando De Paul had another good performance against Unión Española in the National Championship and everything indicates that he will continue to be the starting goalkeeper for Colo Colo in the match against Curicó Unido this coming Thursday at Estadio Monumental.
