Yoshimar Yotún has had a forgettable few weeks.

The Sporting Cristal midfielder had a dangerous incident with the fans and, in addition, the team continues to fail to convince both in the League 1 and the Copa Libertadores, despite having a good start to the season.

In that sense, 'Yoshi' decided to speak out about the bitter draw they obtained against UTC in the latest match of the Apertura Tournament and reveal his feelings about the performances, taking into account that they are already out of the fight by being in the sixth place.

"We have a bitter taste, as we played a good game, we always try, we have to keep working, the only way to keep adding is to work," he began by saying in an interview for ovación.

"Physically speaking I am fine, I am not happy because we are not getting the results, but I am calm because the team is giving everything," he added about his physical condition and the feelings left by the last score.

Likewise, he dared to leave a strong message about the attacks he has been receiving at the moment due to the recent incident he had with Tiago Nunes, despite everything having already become secondary and apologies having been made. He pointed out that he feels calm and grateful for the support of the 'team of his dreams'.

"I know what I am and what I am worth, I know the kind of person I am, I am calm and grateful to the Sporting Cristal board," he concluded.
