A new edition of the Superclásico was experienced in a particular way at the Monumental Stadium. With three players sent off from Boca and one from River Plate, the 'Millonarios' managed to win 1-0 with a goal from Miguel Borja from the penalty spot in the last minutes of the match.

DEMICHELIS vs. ALMIRÓN
Interestingly, both Demichelis and Jorge Almirón, Boca's coach, are debutants in a Superclásico, even though River's coach started this year and the 'xeneize' coach signed his contract less than a month ago.
- "Little by little, we are getting a clear idea of what each one should do on the field. The fact that we don't concede goals is important, it has been a long time since the team was in that condition and it is important to generate confidence," Almirón considered about Boca's recovery.
