Rise again: Juan Pablo Varillas climbed five places in the ATP ranking.

The national tennis player Juan Pablo Varillas has shown a remarkable rise in the ranking of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), climbing five positions compared to his previous ranking. As a result, the player is now placed 87th.

According to the latest ATP ranking report, Juan Pablo Varillas, who was defeated in the first round of the Madrid Masters 1000 by the German Yannick Hanfmann, currently has a total of 667 points in this new overall classification.

On the other hand, Nicolás Álvarez descended one step and remains the second best Peruvian tennis player in the ATP ranking. 'Nico' is placed 414th with 111 points.

In relation to other national tennis players, Gonzalo Bueno climbed 32 positions and now sits at 427th. Jorge Brian Panta (dropped 2 positions) is placed 462nd, Arklon Huerta del Pino is placed 482nd (rose nine positions), Conner Huertas del Pino is placed 618th (rose four places), and Ignacio Buse is placed 689th.
