What is the Humanitarian Parole?

Requirements for Humanitarian Parole in the USA
According to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS), certain requirements must be met to initiate the Humanitarian Parole process. To do this, the applicant must have a valid passport and a sponsor in the United States willing to apply for their participation in the program.
The sponsor applying for Humanitarian Parole must prove that they have the necessary financial resources to support the applicant's stay for a period of two years. On the other hand, the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) has announced that migrants who entered the country and obtained temporary permission to stay (known as "parolees") can now apply for their work permit online through Form I-765.
How long does Humanitarian Parole last?
In general, the duration of the temporary permission to stay does not usually exceed one year. The United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) will establish the necessary timeframe to fulfill the purpose of the permit, as specified in section 3 of form I-131.
The end of parole is determined by one of two events, and it will occur when either of them is fulfilled first.

- Comply with vaccination requirements and other public health requirements established by the US government.
Ineligible individuals include:
- Those with permanent residence or refugee status in any other country or dual citizenship.
- Those who have received a deportation order from the United States in the past five years or are subject to an inadmissibility ban based on a previous expulsion order.
- Those who have illegally crossed the borders of the United States, Mexico, or Panama after January 5, 2023.
