Start of the 2023 Season: Sultanes de Monterrey announces partnership with Caliente.Mx
During the start of the 2023 season of the Mexican Baseball League, Sultanes de Monterrey added a fourth sponsor to their official line-up by announcing a commercial alliance with the betting house Caliente.Mx.
The agreement, which also includes the Fantasmas Grises in the Pacific League, was presented by Guillermo "Willie" Gonzalez, Vice President of Sultanes Club, and Fernanda Sainz, Sales Director of Caliente.
"We are extremely pleased to have the biggest ally, the industry-leading company that is CalienteMx, which has been with us for many years on various platforms, in radio, in television, in Mediotiempo.com," said Gonzalez.
"And now having them with Sultanes is a satisfaction and an excitement for us, and it won't be just for three years, surely it will be many more."
Willie announced that Sultanes will later offer an area in the Mobil Super Stadium called "Zona Caliente", where fans can watch games on monitors and place their bets.
Fernanda Sainz pointed out that Sultanes franchise is the only one that plays in both professional leagues in Mexico, in addition to bringing all fans together in the capital of Nuevo León.
"It's incredible, it's a totally winning team, always reaching the finals, producing so many stars that also represent us in the national team, so for us it was very important to join Sultanes because it's a team that unites all the people from Monterrey," said the Sales Director of Caliente.
"I think that's the difference with soccer, I think here Sultanes is for all of Monterrey, so for us, it was important to join you to make a strong presence in Nuevo León."
She explained that Caliente's customers will have benefits such as improved odds, personal interactions with players, autographed jerseys, tickets to games, and a closer connection to baseball.
Sainz added that fans who download the Caliente app and register will be able to watch games of the Fantasmas Grises on their streaming platform.
The agreement with Monterrey's new sponsor is for three seasons, until 2025.
