The Italian referee Daniele Orsato has been appointed by UEFA to officiate the match between Chelsea and Real Madrid, next Tuesday at the London's Stamford Bridge stadium, corresponding to the second leg of the Champions League quarterfinals.
Orsato, 47, and an international referee since 2010, has officiated five matches this season in the top European competition: Manchester City-Borussia Dortmund (2-1), Eintracht Frankfurt-Tottenham (0-0), RB Leipzig-Real Madrid (3-2), Porto-Atletico Madrid (2-1), and Bayern Munich-Paris Saint-Germain (2-0).
