Since his signing on March 7th, Christian Cueva has played three matches (two as a starter and one from the bench) at Alianza Lima. Asked about Alianza Lima's result against Paranaense, Lerner pointed out that the team "deserved more". "They needed to get more into the box, take more shots, but they could have achieved a good result. It was a balanced match, with danger in both boxes, and we had two opportunities, one for Zanelatto who didn't shoot hard enough and another for Bryan Reyna, who tried to beat the goalkeeper," he said.

These are the cases of Franco Zanelatto and Jesús Castillo. Regarding the former, Lerner stated that he is delivering "very good results". "Jesús, despite being young, is performing well and has worked hard," he said.
