In the last few hours, around Alianza Lima, not only has there been talk about the performance of Guillermo Salas's team against Paranaense, for the first match of the Group Stage of the 2023 Copa Libertadores. It turns out that there would be some changes regarding the Fondo Blanquiazul, the main creditor of the blanquiazul institution. Note that this issue is still in its initial stage.
According to Willax Deportes, Fernando Farah, Salomón Lerner, and Antonio Armejo are members of Fondo Blanquiazul who would be selling their credits for personal reasons.
Amidst this scenario, a group of investors appeared with the required amount to become the majority part of the board. One of the names that stands out is Carlos Jiro Hiraoka, general manager of the Company Yi Chang, who, through his social media, posted a message showing his support for the blanquiazul team.
“I consider myself lucky to belong to a family where each of us is a passionate fan of different teams. However, for me, there is only one jersey that represents my loyalty and love for a football club: the one from Alianza Lima” reads the post.
However, sources from the blanquiazul institution dismissed this version. Depor learned that the involved company is JMS Advisor, led by Jose Manuel Sabogal Carrillo.
Times of change are coming to the íntima store and the outcome -which may take months to materialize- will have to be awaited to find out what will happen with the Fondo Blanquiazul, the entity that assumed the presidency of the Board of Creditors of the íntima institution in 2019. In any case, beyond the agreement reached with the investors, the operation would also have to be approved by the Board of Creditors.
When did Fondo Blanquiazul take charge of Alianza Lima?
Alianza Lima entered into a bankruptcy process in 2012, during which it was led by the temporary administrations of Susana Cuba, Christian Bustos, and Renzo Ratto; the latter left his position in 2019. In that same year, Fondo Blanquiazul entered La Victoria when they acquired the club's main debts with SUNAT, becoming the main creditor. At the beginning, Kattia Bohorquez assumed the provisional administration with the FB, and in August 2022, she was succeeded by Fernando Salazar, the current administrator of the íntima institution.
The members of Fondo Blanquiazul are Diego Gonzales Posada, Salomón Lerner, Remigio Morales Bermúdez, Fernando Farah, Antonio Armejo, and César Torres.
