Bad news seems to keep surrounding Anderson Silva, former UFC middleweight champion, who won't be able to fight in UFC 198 event because he has a problem with his gallbladder and will undergo surgery to remove it.
The Brazilian was going to be part of the main card of UFC 198 against American Uriah Hall. It hasn't been confirmed yet if the company will find a replacement, since there are 4 days left until May 14th (day of the event) and it's most likely that the 'Spider's' opponent won't be able to fight on that day either.
Silva is coming off a unanimous decision loss to Michael Bisping and before that, the fighter from Sao Paulo spent 2 years inactive, first due to a leg fracture and then suspended for consuming performance-enhancing substances.
On the other hand, Hall is going through a period full of ups and downs. First with a legendary performance during the Ultimate Fighter house and then losing to Robert Whittaker at the UFC 193 event in November last year.
