Historic! Shoely Mego wins triple gold medal at the Pan American Championships in Bariloche.

National pride. The athlete from the Peruvian Sports Federation of Weightlifting, Shoely Mego (55 kg category) won three gold medals for our country in the Pan American Championships held in Bariloche, Argentina, from March 25th to April 1st of the current year.

Shoely Mego lifted 85 kg in the Snatch and won the GOLD, and in the Clean & Jerk she lifted 107 kg, also winning the gold, with a Total of 192, achieving the third gold medal for Peru. It is also worth highlighting the double bronze medal won by David Bardalez (61 kg category) in the Clean & Jerk with 150 kg and in the Total with 271 kg.

This event adds points to the qualifying world ranking for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The work carried out by the Weightlifting Board of Directors is impeccable on the road to international tournaments qualifications.
