Broken dressing room at Bayern Munich caused Nagelsmann's departure: reports.

According to German media, cracks between the Bayern Munich locker room and Julian Nagelsmann caused the departure of the head coach.

According to German media, cracks between the Bayern Munich locker room and Julian Nagelsmann caused the departure of the head coach.

German media point to possible cracks in the dressing room of Bayern Munich that may have become evident with the dismissal of Julian Nagelsmann and his replacement by Thomas Tuchel, just as weeks that could be decisive in the season approach.

The arguments of the President of the Management Board, Oliver Kahn, and the Sporting Director, Hasan Salihamidzic, indicate that "the relationship between the coach and the team had stopped working", which, translated into simpler language, means that Nagelsmann had lost the dressing room.

One of the heavyweights in the dressing room, Joshua Kimmich, however, denied this. "I would not say that. The reason is that we have won few games, we have not had enough success," he said to the German television.

"We are still alive in all competitions but it has been seen that we have not had a good performance in the Bundesliga. Out of ten games we have won five. But I cannot say that we have lost the dressing room," he added.

The Kicker magazine argues that Kimmich does not speak on behalf of the entire dressing room and highlights the silence with which the other two captains, Manuel Neuer and Thomas Müller, have reacted to the dismissal.

Kimmich has asked his teammates to take responsibility in the new situation. "Whenever there is a change of coach it is disappointing because it means that the players have failed," he said.

The situation is somewhat reminiscent of what happened after Carlo Ancelotti's departure, when there were two groups in the dressing room that later managed to be unified by Jupp Heynckes.

Goretzka, in statements to German television after Germany's victory against Peru, hinted that there could be opposing forces to Nagelsmann in the dressing room.

"Personally, I can say that in my relationship with Julian there were no cracks. But I don't know what was happening with other players," he added.
