With the first international goal by América forward Alejandro Zendejas, the United States crushed Granada 7-1 on Friday and took the lead in Group D of the Concacaf Nations League. The USMNT, winner of the first edition of the Nations League in 2021, only needs a draw on Monday against El Salvador in Orlando (Florida) to secure their presence in the June semifinals.
