Humberto Bandenay
was one of the main protagonists of Fusion Fighting Championship 20, an event that took place on May 4th in Rosedal de Surco. As seen in this YouTube video, the Peruvian fighter achieved an impressive victory over Brazilian Sergio Hortig.
During the second round of the fight, Humberto Bandenay had already landed several liver kicks on his opponent, who was practically running out of breath. And in the YouTube footage, you can see when the Peruvian decided to take advantage of the moment to secure the finish.
When Sergio Hortig was expecting another mid-level kick, Humberto Bandenay surprised him with a brutal head kick. The Brazilian fighter collapsed on the canvas almost instantly: knockout and victory for Peru.
This impressive victory allowed Humberto Bandenay to earn a rematch against Mexican Arturo Chavez, who took away the FFC featherweight belt with a rear-naked choke. This new fight will take place on July 20th, also at Rosedal de Surco.
