A magnitude 3.6 earthquake was recorded on Wednesday at 3:28 a.m. on the coast of San Diego, California, near San Clemente Island in the Pacific Ocean, according to the US Geological Survey.
The seismic movement occurred 67.9 miles west of La Jolla and 62.6 miles south of Avalon on Catalina Island, with a depth of about 15 miles. It is important to note that the epicenter of the earthquake was reported 69.2 miles west of Coronado and 70.8 miles west of San Diego. The good news is that no injuries or damage were reported.
