Best of The Super Jr. XXIII Tournament

The Japanese company NJPW has announced the participants and group arrangement for their annual junior weight (under 100 kg) tournament, "Best of The Super Jr. XXIII". The announcement was made during the "Wrestling Dontaku 2016" event.

This 2016 edition will take place from May 21 to June 7 and will feature the participation of 16 wrestlers in this weight category.

Debuting in this competition is the English wrestler Will Ospreay, the latest acquisition of the lion company; as well as the Mexican Volador Jr. from CMLL, the current holder of the NWA Historical Welterweight Championship and special guest.

Also confirmed to participate is Ricochet, who a few days ago rejected his inclusion in the Global Cruiserweight Tournament of WWE justifying that he would be in this more traditional NJPW competition. We must not forget that Ricochet was the great winner of the BOSJ a couple of years ago and this would be his second participation.
