Getting closer and waiting for the club to announce on social media the signing of the midfielder from the Peruvian National Team, who can inject that 'chocolate' that is liked in La Victoria. Alianza Lima launched a multimedia animation, in which -practically- confirms the signing of Christian Cueva for the blanquiazul team with a view to their participation in Liga 1 and the group stage of the Copa Libertadores 2023. With five days left until the transfer window closes in Peruvian football, the club trusts in being able to fulfill 'Aladino's' and the fans' desire: for him to return to Matute.
From there, and as Depor said, the albos had no better idea than to publish a video in which a magic lamp (clearly referring to 'Aladino') and -in the background- the song 'El Cervecero' are appreciated, the same song that has become an anthem for the midfielder from the National Team as well.
Initially, Christian Cueva plans to join Alianza Lima for six months. However, the blanquiazul directive will make the financial effort to keep him until the end of this season, although it knows that -in order to do so- it will need the support of its unconditional fans.
For this reason, the institution is working on a campaign in conjunction with the fan base of the current double champion of Peruvian football, which will not only allow 'Aladino' to arrive at Matute but also increase the chances of securing him until December 2023. And, two days before visiting UTC de Cajamarca, the illusion is already in every corner of the country, for the blanquiazul followers: Cueva is close to putting on the shirt.
Alianza Lima returns to action
On the other hand, Alianza Lima could not play their match -last weekend- against César Vallejo, as the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) considered that there were not enough guarantees for its broadcast. Despite the discomfort in the La Victoria club, the players are already focused on the next match against UTC, which will be played this Sunday at the Héroes de San Ramón stadium -at 3:30 p.m.-.
This was made known by Santiago García after leaving Thursday's training session. The Argentine defender stated that they are already focused on the commitment against the Cajamarca team, as they hope to continue adding points in the championship. "We have had a few days off and we had tactical training and some football, so we are arriving in great shape," he said. While Cueva's situation is being resolved, the team is training to the maximum.
