Since his retirement fight against Conor McGregor in 2017, Mayweather has participated in a series of exhibitions, each with less expectation than the previous one; but none like the one on Saturday, February 25, against the virtually unknown local fighter Aaron Chalmers.
The venue was empty for this event, so the match had to be delayed for several minutes, hoping that more people could arrive. However, this didn't change much and only a few more people were able to come.
Mayweather was also immensely superior to Chalmers in the fight, and since he didn't knock him down in eight rounds, the match ended without a result, generating even more disappointment among the few followers of the Rapid, Michigan native.
