Ecuador summons its best for the Copa América Centenario.

Ecuador does not take the luxury of marginalizing anyone, and in its preliminary list of 40 players, all the power is focused on the Copa America Centenario.

The coach of the Ecuadorian national team, the Argentine Gustavo Quinteros, announced today a list of 40 pre-selected players for the Copa America Centenario that will take place in June in US cities.

Quinteros' list includes the names of 17 Ecuadorian players who play for foreign clubs, but that list of 40 will be reduced to only 23 for the tournament.

Ecuador is part of Group B, along with Brazil, Haiti, and Peru.

The pre-selected players are as follows:

Goalkeepers: Alexander Domínguez (Liga de Quito), Esteban Dreer (Emelec), Máximo Banguera (Barcelona), and Daniel Librado Azcona (Independiente del Valle).

Defenders: Juan Carlos Paredes (Watford, England), Mario Pineida (Barcelona), José Quintero (Liga de Quito), Arturo Mina (Independiente del Valle), Gabriel Achilier (Emelec), Jorge Guagua (Emelec), Frickson Erazo (Atlético Mineiro, Brazil), Robert Arboleda (Universidad Católica), Darío Aimar (Barcelona), Luis Caicedo (Independiente del Valle), Walter Ayoví (Monterrey, Mexico), Oscar Bagui (Emelec), Cristian Ramírez (Ferencbaros, Hungary).
