Christian Pacheco broke the national record
But the good news did not end for Christian Pacheco, as he broke the national record of 2:09:07 that he had also set last year in the Lima Life 42k marathon.
Pacheco also secured his participation in the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games, being ranked among the top 10 in the Pan American ranking.
Remember that Christian Pacheco is the second national athlete to qualify for Paris 2024. A few weeks ago, Gladys Tejeda did the same in the Valencia Marathon.
