Alianza responded: "In a sign of this historical truth, the IPD stated, on a banner at the National Stadium, that the 1934 title belongs to Alianza Lima. We will hold the FPF responsible for any changes in the information provided by the IPD, which rightly proclaims our institution's historic four-time championship".
This Sunday another classic is played and this issue raised alarms. For the FPF, 'U' has 26 titles and Alianza Lima only 25. The creams are calm, but the intimates will fight in all international instances for "justice to be done".
