Despite the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am extending well into Monday, odds are already up for the 2023 Waste Management Phoenix Open, which features a star-studded field with 23 of the top 24 eligible players in the Official World Golf Ranking set to tee it up.
Depending on the sportsbook you use, that's made a number of players' odds somewhat unattractive. World No. 1 Rory McIlroy and World No. 3 Jon Rahm are both in single-digit territory on the DraftKings Sportsbook, Rahm the favorite at +650 and McIlroy right behind him at +800. Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele are each at 11-1, with Justin Thomas and Max Homa checking in next at 16-1. Patrick Cantlay, who has not played since the American Express, is 18-1.

Things get a bit more palatable in the 25-1 and up range, with Collin Morikawa and Tony Finau, a runner-up here in 2020, at 25-1. Hideki Matsuyama, perhaps the ultimate horse for the course at TPC Scottsdale with two wins and six top-16 finishes since 2014, is 28-1. Tom Kim (28-1) and Viktor Hovland (30-1) round out that tier of the odds board.
Reigning PGA Tour Rookie of the Year Cameron Young, fresh off a second-place finish at the Saudi International, is 35-1, along with Sungjae Im. Below are the odds for every player in the field at the WMPO, the second "elevated event" of the new season.
