It's official. After much back and forth, River Plate announced through its social media the signing of Salomón Rondón for the next two seasons. The Venezuelan forward arrives at the 'Millonario' team after his spell at Everton in England.
“Salomón Rondón, new player of River Plate. Welcome!”, the 'Millonario' team posted on their virtual platforms.
“Salomón has already done his medical tests in Spain, there is a small part to do here in Argentina. Surely on Monday he will already be working with us”, said Martín Demichelis, River Plate's coach, after defeating Central Córdoba in the Argentine League.
In that line, this Monday Rondón had his first practice with his new teammates and the coaching staff will evaluate whether to consider him or not for the weekend match against Belgrano.

The forward has signed for the next two seasons with River Plate and becomes the second Venezuelan player to join the 'Millonario' team after César González, better known as 'Maestrico'.
