Argentina's national team title at the 2022 Qatar World Cup continues to be talked about. Now, Zlatan Ibrahimovic spoke out about the 'Albiceleste' coronation, but in a very particular way, highlighting what Lionel Messi has done, but strongly criticizing the other players.
“Messi is considered the best in history and will be remembered for winning the World Cup in Qatar. I feel sorry for Mbappé because scoring four goals in a final and not winning it is very sad, but he has already won one World Cup and will win another,” the Swedish player began saying in an interview with an international media outlet.
“I'm not worried about Mbappé, I'm worried about the other players from Argentina, because they won't win anything else. Messi won everything and will be remembered, but the rest behaved badly and that cannot be respected,” the forward added.
“I say this as a high-level professional. For me, it's a sign that they won once, but they won't do it again,” Zlatan Ibrahimovic concluded.
Remember that several players from the Argentina national team were criticized for their exuberant celebrations and even taunts (to some extent) towards their rivals in the World Cup.
