In November, Gerard Piqué said goodbye to Camp Nou, the stadium that welcomed him for fourteen years. In these months of retirement, the Spaniard has managed to always be in the eye of the storm.
One of the projects that keeps him current on the front pages of the newspapers is the creation of the Kings League. This league, promoted by Piqué, which brings together the greatest Spanish-speaking streamers, has an impact on a daily basis. And this Friday was no exception.
In the usual meeting every Friday, along with Ibai, 'Kun' Agüero and the other presidents of the clubs that make up the league, the former center-back announced that the final would be held at the historic Camp Nou in Barcelona. In addition, this news was given together with the president of the Catalan club, Joan Laporta.
"We are here with the president of Barça to announce that the 'Final Four' of the Kings League, on March 26, will be played...", mentioned the former player, leaving the statement hanging.
Then, he handed over the floor to Laporta, so that he could make it official. "It will be played at the Spotify Camp Nou," said the executive.
Subsequently, all the attendees, between stunned and jubilant, applauded fervently. This announcement ended with an affectionate embrace between Gerard Piqué and Joan Laporta.
