In which states will this economic support be available?
A total of four American cities will receive this stimulus payment, each of them located in a different state and with different qualification rules.
- Idaho
In this city, residents will be offered a one-time payment of $600 dollars to be sent in February. This amount was initially approved in September 2022, when the state allocated a package to reduce the record budget surplus and cut taxes within the state. It is worth noting that payments will continue until March.
- Massachusetts
In December, the second phase of the universal basic income program was launched in the city of Chelsea.
Payments to its residents will be $400 dollars. This is a continuation of the first phase, in which 2,000 households received monthly payments from November 2020 to August 2021. The deadline to apply for this payment online is Friday, January 6th at midnight.
