The Al Nassr clarified this Wednesday that the contract of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, who signed with the Saudi club on December 30 until 2025, does not imply "any kind of commitment to any candidacy" for a World Cup, in reference to the one launched by Saudi Arabia, Greece, and Egypt for 2030.

According to different media, Cristiano's contract with the Saudi league team, whose value has not been officially revealed, would include an additional 200 million euros as a player to promote the joint candidacy of Saudi Arabia for the 2030 World Cup.
This candidacy, which is expected to be led by Saudi Arabia and include Greece and Egypt, to host the 2030 World Cup, competes with the Spanish, Portuguese, and Ukrainian one and with the South American one, composed of Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay.
