Arley Rodríguez signs with Deportivo Pereira
The two-time champion with Alianza Lima will continue his career in his home country's football.
Arley Rodríguez, a two-time champion in the Liga 1 with Alianza Lima, will continue his career with Deportivo Pereira, which won its first division title at the end of 2022 by winning the Finalización Tournament.
"Matecaña reinforcement. Arley Rodríguez officially joins the front line of the reigning champion. Welcome to Grande Matecaña!", says the message shared by the Colombian institution on its social networks.
The Colombian forward ended his contract with Alianza Lima in December 2022, as the club decided not to renew it.
"I am very happy to join the champion team, eager to contribute my grain of sand to continue making history. To the fans who come to support us this semester, we will give everything to continue with this beautiful story," said Rodríguez.
Deportivo Pereira will be Arley Rodríguez's twelfth team in his career. He has previously played for Atlético Nacional, Elche, Depor FC, Leones FC, Alianza Petrolera, Tigres UANL, Lobos BUAP, Independiente Santa Fe, Envigado, Carlos A. Mannucci, and Alianza Lima.
