On December 8th, fighter Valentina Shevchenko won the award for Best Fighter at The World MMA Awards 2022, but the 'Bullet' is not resting on her laurels and wants more in 2023.
Since defending the flyweight title of UFC in June 2022, the fighter born in Kyrgyzstan and naturalized Peruvian has not stepped into an octagon again and already misses it.
"I wanted to fight in December, but I understand it was difficult to find an opponent," Shevchenko commented to UFC's Spanish portal.
"I'm here, training all the time, almost every day, waiting for the call. I've been ready since, I don't know, September?", she added.
And just to make it clear that she wants to fight again, she left us with a quote: "If they call me tomorrow, I'll be ready tomorrow".
