As it is known, the events of Alianza Lima, Universitario de Deportes, and Sporting Cristal are the ones that usually have the most attendance, being the clubs with the most fans in Peru. However, historic teams like Cienciano or Melgar also attract a large number of people to their stadiums, although there are those who have to watch their teams' presentation on television.
It is under this context that Cienciano brought awful news for those who cannot attend the Garcilaso Stadium, and it is that "Father's Day" will not be televised. This was announced by the Cusco team through a publication on their official Twitter account.
"Due to the judicial process and precautionary measure filed by the Peruvian Football Federation regarding the broadcasting rights for the next season, we will not be able to broadcast the event called 'Father's Day; so we invite our fans to attend massively to the Inca Garcilaso Stadium," explains the message.
As we remember, Cienciano from Cusco will face Deportivo Magallanes from Chile, a club that is the current champion of the Copa de Chile and will participate in the Copa Libertadores this 2023. The surprising thing about all this is that the team was in the Second Division last season and just recently achieved promotion to the top category.
