Mazatlan announces the signing of Ake Loba
The official social media accounts of Mazatlan have announced the signing of forward Ake Loba for the entire 2023 season. The attacker joins as a free agent after his spell with Nashville in the MLS.
As a reminder, Ake Loba joined San Martin in the 2018 season from S.O. Armée in Ivory Coast. He was then loaned to Queretaro throughout 2019. The following year, Monterrey paid 8 million for the striker who is currently 24 years old.
In the last two years, Ake Loba has played 40 matches and only scored two goals in the MLS. His best season was in 2018 when he scored 18 goals wearing San Martin's jersey.
