"Curicó Unido" has officially announced the signing of defender Omar Merlo for the entire 2023 season. His presentation was made through an emotional video, which was published on all of the club's social media platforms.

"Curicó Unido" will play in Phase 2 of the 2023 Copa Libertadores. In this stage, they will face Cerro Porteño from Paraguay in two-legged matches. The winner will advance to the third stage, where they will face the winner of the Fortaleza vs Deportivo Maldonado key.

When Does the Copa Libertadores 2023 Begin?

Phase 1 is scheduled to be played in the second week of February for the first leg matches, while the second leg will take place in the third week. Phase 2 will be played in the last week of February and the second leg in the first week of March.
